Privacy

Your files stay yours.

What Toolworld does with your data today, in plain words. Last updated 10 October 2026.

Files and text you use in a tool

Every tool on the site today runs in your browser. The file or text you give it is read on your device, processed on your device and handed back to you. It is not uploaded, and we cannot see it.

When a tool needs our servers (for example heavy video work or AI), it will say so on the tool page before you use it, and this page will explain what is sent and how long it is kept.

What your browser remembers

  • Your light or dark theme choice.
  • Your number format (decimal separator and currency symbol) for calculators.

These are stored in your browser only, so the site can remember them next time. They are never sent to us. When you pass a result from one tool to the next, the files are held in memory for that one step and then dropped.

Cookies and tracking

The site does not set tracking cookies and does not load advertising or analytics scripts. If that changes, this page will say what is added and why.

Server logs

Like any website, the company that hosts the site keeps basic request logs (such as IP address, page and time) to keep the service running and secure.

Payments

Premium is not open yet. When it is, payments will be handled by a payment company that acts as the seller. We will not see your card details.
