What is in the ZIP?
An AppIcon.appiconset folder with every iPhone and iPad size and the Contents.json file that Xcode reads, Android launcher icons in the five screen densities (square and round), and the 512 × 512 Play Store icon.
Why are the iPhone icons not rounded?
iOS rounds the corners itself. Icons that are already rounded show black corners, and the App Store rejects icons with see-through parts.
Does it make Android adaptive icons?
Not yet. It makes the classic square and round launcher icons, which every Android version shows. Adaptive icons need a separate foreground and background layer.
What size should the artwork be?
Square and at least 1024 × 1024 pixels. The tool warns you when it is smaller.
Is my logo uploaded anywhere?
No. The icons are made in your browser, on your device. The picture is not sent to a server.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent to a server.
Is it free?
Yes, you can use it for free. A subscription removes limits and unlocks premium tools.
