Questions

Which pictures work?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and SVG. JPG and PNG are put into the PDF exactly as they are. HEIC photos from an iPhone are not supported yet; export them as JPG first. An animated picture gives its first frame.

Can I add a picture of my signature?

Yes. Use a picture of the signature on a white or transparent background. A PNG keeps its transparent parts, so the page shows through them. Anyone who can open the PDF can copy the picture, so this is a picture of a signature, not a digital signature.

Does it change the rest of the page?

No. The picture is added to the page, over the content or behind it. Text, links, form fields, comments and bookmarks stay exactly as they were.

Can the picture go on only some pages?

Yes. Type the pages in the Pages box, for example 1 for the first page only, or 2- for every page from the second on.

What if the picture is larger than the page?

It is made smaller, in proportion, until it fits, and you are told. A picture that you turn is fitted by its turned outline.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The picture is placed in your browser, on your device.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. This tool runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent to a server.

Is it free?

Yes, you can use it for free. A subscription removes limits and unlocks premium tools.
