- Download all the files as a ZIP, put them in the top folder of your website, and copy the tags into the head of your pages.

Which files do I get?
favicon.ico (16, 32 and 48 pixels in one file), PNG icons at 16, 32 and 48 pixels for browser tabs, apple-touch-icon.png (180 pixels) for iPhone and iPad home screens, android-chrome icons at 192 and 512 pixels, site.webmanifest, and the tags to paste into your pages.
What size should my picture be?
Square, and at least 512 × 512 pixels. The tool warns you when it is smaller. An SVG logo works at any size.
Where do the files go?
In the top folder of your website, next to the home page, so that /favicon.ico works. Then paste the tags from favicon-tags.html between <head> and </head>.
Will it work in Internet Explorer and Windows XP?
No. The icon file holds PNG images, which every current browser reads, but Windows XP and Internet Explorer 10 and older do not.
Is my logo uploaded anywhere?
No. The icons are made in your browser, on your device. The picture is not sent to a server.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent to a server.
Is it free?
Yes, you can use it for free. A subscription removes limits and unlocks premium tools.
