How to use it
- Drop your picture onto the page.
- Choose how many columns and rows. For an Instagram grid, 3 columns and 1, 2, 3 or 4 rows are usual.
- Press Split and download the pieces, one by one or as a ZIP file.
Questions
Are the pieces exactly equal?
They are as equal as whole pixels allow: pieces differ by at most one pixel when the size does not divide evenly. Together they cover the whole picture with nothing missing and nothing repeated.
How do I post a grid on Instagram?
Post the pieces in the order given in the file names: piece 1 is the top left. If you choose "last piece first", the numbers go in the order to post them.
Are my pictures uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device. The pictures are not sent to a server.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent to a server.
Is it free?
Yes, you can use it for free. A subscription removes limits and unlocks premium tools.
