N-up pages
Put 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 16 pages of a PDF on each sheet, to save paper.
How to use it
- Drop one or more PDFs onto the page.
- Choose how many pages go on a sheet, the sheet size and the order.
- Press Put pages on sheets and download the result. Text stays sharp because the pages are placed, not turned into pictures.
Questions
Does it make the text smaller?
Yes, each page is scaled down to fit its place on the sheet. A page keeps its proportions and sits in the middle of its place. Four pages on an A4 sheet are each about half as wide as before.
What happens to links, comments and forms?
Links stop working on the sheets. Highlights, stamps, drawn notes and filled-in form fields are drawn on the sheets as they look, but they can no longer be edited. Some comments are drawn only by the program that opens the file, and the file holds no picture of them. Those cannot be put on the sheets, and you get a warning. Text, pictures and fonts are copied as they are.
Which way do the sheets turn?
The default, Best fit, chooses upright or sideways sheets so that the pages come out as large as possible. Choose Portrait or Landscape to decide it yourself.
Can I print this double-sided?
Yes. Print the result as you would any PDF. For a folded booklet use Booklet maker instead, which puts the pages in the right order for folding.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The pages are arranged in your browser, on your device.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
