Questions
What are no-break and zero-width characters?
A no-break space (U+00A0) looks like a space but is a different character, so "Smith" and "Smith " never match. Zero-width spaces and byte order marks are invisible. Both often arrive with text copied from web pages and PDFs. Zero-width joiners are left alone because emoji and some scripts need them.
What happens to rows with a different number of cells?
Short rows are filled up with empty cells so every row is as wide as the widest one. The message above the result says how many were filled.
Does it change the order or the values of my data?
Only as the ticked options say. Rows keep their order. Numbers and text are not reformatted.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser. Your text is not sent to a server.
