File joiner
Put the parts of a split file back together into one file.
How to use it
- Add all the parts together. Names like movie.mkv.001, movie.mkv.002 are put in order for you.
- Check the name of the joined file, or leave it empty to use the name the parts suggest.
- Press the button and download the joined file.
Questions
Which parts can it join?
Parts that are plain slices of a file, such as those from File splitter, the split command, HJSplit and 7-Zip’s “split to volumes” (movie.7z.001). Parts of a multi-volume RAR or ZIP archive (.part1.rar, .z01) are not plain slices; open the first part with a program that knows the format.
In what order are the parts joined?
By name, with numbers sorted by value (part 2 before part 10), unless you choose “As listed”. In that case use the arrows to put the parts in order.
What if a part is missing?
If the names are numbered, the tool tells you which numbers are missing and does not make a file that would be broken.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The parts are joined on your device. No copy is made in memory; the new file is built from the parts as it is saved.
How do I check the result?
Use File checksum verifier on the joined file and compare with the checksum of the original, if you have one.
Can I join files that are not parts?
Yes. Choose “As listed”, order them with the arrows and give the joined file a name. They are put one after the other, byte for byte. Joining PDFs or pictures this way does not make a valid document: use the PDF tools for that.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent to a server.
Is it free?
Yes, you can use it for free. A subscription removes limits and unlocks premium tools.
